The Vendee Globe in the world’s ultimate sailing race – a solo, non-stop and around the world one. Every four years, sailors embark from France to tackle 24,000 nautical miles of challenging oceans, facing extreme weather and isolation during about three months. FRANCE 24’s Selina Sykes spoke with Conrad Colman, a sailor from New Zealand and the US who took part in the last edition and will again in this 10th edition.
