Following a meeting with the leaders of French conservative and centrist parties and parliamentary groups, French Prime Minister Michel Barnier on Thursday presented his new cabinet choices to President Emmanuel Macron. The new premier, a seasoned politician, is attempting to end months of political deadlock following snap elections in July. It is now up to Macron to approve the new cabinet.
