France will bid a final farewell to the 2024 Paris Olympics on Saturday with a grand parade along the Champs-Elysees followed by a concert featuring artists from the opening and closing ceremonies. Organised at the request of President Emmanuel Macron, the event will also see the decoration of many French medal winners with the country’s top award, the prestigious Legion d’Honneur.
