Dominique Pelicot, the Frenchman on trial for enlisting dozens of strangers to rape his wife Gisele after he drugged her into unconsciousness over a period, was on Wednesday excused a second time from attending a hearing due to ill health, the presiding judge said. If his condition improves, Pelicot could be summoned to speak on Thursday afternoon in connection with the case of one of his co-defendants, identified as Jean-Pierre M.
