On the last day of her trial against the filmmaker she accused of sexually assaulting her as a child, French actor Adèle Haenel on Tuesday briefly stormed out of the courtroom and told Christophe Ruggia to “shut up”. Haenel was the first prominent French actor to sound the alarm on sexual abuse in the country’s film industry.
