French President Emmanuel Macron said on Friday that France would celebrate its Olympians on September 14 on the Champs-Élysées, situated within walking distance of five Paris Olympics arenas. France’s most notable athletes at this Olympics include 22-year-old swimmer Leon Marchand, winner of four gold medals, and Teddy Riner, 35, who has won two gold medals in judo.
