French President Emmanuel Macron’s office on Tuesday was urged to try to control spending after the country’s Cour des Comptes, or Court of Accounts, found it had spent nearly one million euros on lavish banquets during visits by Britain’s King Charles III and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
