Biles makes highly anticipated Paris Olympics entrance as UK’s Peaty eyes swimming landmark

US gymnastics superstar Simone Biles, who skipped the Opening Ceremony on Friday to rest, will make her first highly anticipated appearance at the Paris Olympics on Sunday. In swimming, British defending champion Adam Peaty is hoping to beat China’s world champion Qin Haiyang in the 100m breaststroke and emulate Michael Phelps by winning a third straight gold medal. France’s Leon Marchand is favourite for gold in the men’s 400m individual medley.
